Barn Updates

March will be a busy month for us! With 6 litters due, I expect some sleepless nights checking does in my future. ;-) Baby watch has officially begun with Elsa, she is huge but her vent area isn't soft and swollen yet so it won't be anytime soon. Based on her previous litters, she usually kindles in the early morning hours.

Her belly almost drags, I've never seen her this big...fingers crossed for healthy mom and babies!!



The babies are doing Great, eating like piggies and that is a good thing. Their mother on the other hand, is visibly drained. I removed her from the babies today, she's just really thin from being nursed 24/7 by 7 babies. I will put her with the little ones for a once a day feeding in the AM. She will have a break to fatten up before going to her new home next month.

Jordan is being a picky eater, so much so, she's deliberately starving herself. ...insert angry face....LOL
Miss priss will get her OWN bag of feed on Friday since she refuses to eat anything other than Purina Fiber3. Pfft!
