Holly-my pick of the litter doe...she has tiny ears and is all head like her daddy! Very compact and good shoulder width...hoping she'll stay like that. Unfortunately she does have an ear spot but that's okay, she can definitely replace mom.
This little cutie has only one eyeband and I think she has a blue eye on the side without an eyeband which would be so cool looking as a pet.
The BUBs-Big Ugly Bucks ;) Yes you can tell who are going to be huge when they are older.
In other news, all of the does are bred! All palpated positive and a couple are first timers. These babies will be my juniors at the June show. Everybody is fed, watered and cleaned...happy buns this morning!

Wanna share? :)
((hugs)) you know I would love to. Wish you were closer!
Holly is adorable, she sure looks promising! I hope she turns out great for you. And super exciting about all your girls bred! I'm planning on breeding all my does in the next week and a half, IF they cooperate! =/ Do you have any tips on getting your does to be willing to breed in the winter? Mine are pretty stubborn... the temps are in the 20's though her in MN, so I can't say I blame them! ;) Anyways, congrats on the cute baby. ;) I love reading your blog! :)

Awe, thanks Emily! <3 I so wish you were closer too! As far as getting those girls bred, I have tried the Apple Cider Vinegar in their water and it helped with my older doe but I tell ya the best thing to get them in the mood is to take them to a show. lol Or maybe driving them around or keeping them in a carrier in the warm house for the day. I don't know what it is about getting them out but all of my girls were raising up with wiggling tails after the show a couple of weeks ago. I would also suggest letting them 'hump' the buck for a minute prior to attempting to breed them. I know that sounds horrible but it does get them in the mood and are more willing with the buck. He will probably hate the tease but maybe your girls will get in the mood. But just keep trying, I had several misses but now they are all palpated positive. The key is to get good at palpating and check at 10 days, if they missed, re-breed. You will get babies eventually. Keep at it girlie :-) I love reading your blog too!!
Dear 4 Kings,
Please limit the number of adorable bunnies on your blog. Our mom keeps thinking that she needs to add another breed. We know she only has room for us, but she keeps looking and saying stuff like "Awwwww" and "I wonder if I have room?..." and "I've always liked those Dwarf Hotots".
Sincerely,
Kelfla's English Angoras
P.S. The bunnies look great! :)
Dear Kefla's English Angoras,
I am about to post the cutest photo session so far, I'm so sorry because I am determined to convert your mom to a Texas Dwarf Hotot breeder too. Quick, get a blankie and toss it over the computer screen...or you might as well just let her look and bring home some new members of the family next spring. Don't worry, she will still have enough love in her heart for you too.
Hang on, the cuteness meter is about to explode.
Sincerely,
Lindsey and her diva Dwarf Hotots
I am trying to talk my parents into convention. It probably won't happen but I really wanna go!!! :)
Thanks so much Lindsey! I reallllly appreciate all the info! Ya, I really wish I was closer too, that would be great! =) That's interesting about bringing them to a show... is it being around all the rabbits or just the ride? Right now I brought Chocolate Chip up and have her in a carrier in here. If that works I'll try it with the other ones! And I'll have to try that about letting them hump the buck... I never heard of that before! but if it works, that's great! :) LOL Palpating... I've tried before but have trouble feeling it. Do you have any special way you do it? Thanks again soooooooo much for your help, I love it! :)
Lanae...come, come, come!
Emily, you are so welcome! I don't know why taking them to shows works, maybe its the smells of other rabbits? Or the trip itself? I was told by several breeder to take stubborn does to a show and surprisingly it has worked for me. Let me know if it helps Chocolate Chip any. Crossing my fingers for you! About the palpating, I will try to make a blog post with a video about it. Will try to do it today and will post tomorrow. :-)
Thanks Lindsey! That would be so great! I'll let you know how it goes with Chip. :)
