We're on a webring! New Herd sire coming too!

*whew* It has been a horrible week and what? It's only Wednesday?!?! I'm sorry to rant but the only good news seems to be bunny related. What would we do without the bunnies?! :-)

Okay, I got a notification today that we were approved for the Jersey Wooly webring(the box can be seen at the bottom of the page on my website). It's very neat to be apart of this group!

We're also getting a new herd sire at the end of the month!!! Yay! Kathy Moerbe so graciously decieded to give me a replacement buck for Big Daddy since we are having breeding difficulties with him. What a sweet lady to make such a kind offer! The buck is out of the Lone Oak line and has some incredible parents. He has a huge head, tiny ear and nice dense wool. I can't wait to bring him home! Unfortunately Big Daddy will be going back to his breeder(I think, we haven't heard a reply back yet). I sure am going to miss him, we've grown really attatched to him. I will probably shed some tears~really.;-(

Piper is nearing her due date, quick. Her tummy has gotten really soft and smaller over the past week and she's seemed to have lost her appetite too. Not sure what's going on, it's just the waiting game now. Surely this time next week we'll have some wiggly kits in the nestbox.

Sophie is mite free now! Her hair on her nose is completely grown back too. Wow! I highly recommend Revolution for treatment of mites. It has worked much better than Ivermectin for me.:-)
