Decisions, decisions...

I'm kinda in a slump with my herd at the moment. It seems not much is going the way I want it to. I've sold a LOT of bunnies recently and now I'm left with a handful. I think my numbers will be the lowest its been in a long while after next weekend when I do my last bunny drop(other than convention). I just don't know why I'm in such a blah with them lately, its not that I want to sell out, its just that I kinda want to be reclusive for a while.

Here's what I'm thinking:
  •  Stop breeding for a month or two, may pick back up after Convention.
  • No shows...I'm thinking I just want to do our local club's show once a year and just aim for the national competitions only
  • Limited sales, I just don't want to deal with it anymore...I have a gorgeous rabbit, sell it and before delivering the bun, something happens and I have to tell the owners, its heartbreaking...sales are stressful for me-so much can happen in more ways than one. This morning I lost a very nice doe that was going to a new breeder and it was just devastating.
Perfect body on this doe, she just lacks the head to go with it. ;-)
On the bright side, here are my lovely babies growing and doing well...
Maddie and Lexi
Maddie and her helicopter ears and Lexi looking cute

Panda and Aimee
Abby's litter
Jennie's litter plus a foster

I'm doing the same thing. It's so frustrating to get pet quality out of two amazing rabbits. I've only sold two show bunnies all year, a few brood, and the rest went to pet homes. I've acutually cleared out all of my Hollands and all new stock in my Hotots from Convention.

Sorry your babies haven't turned out the way you would have liked. Your current babies sure are cute though. There's no mistaking Panda. She sure has gotten big! What a sweetheart:-)
