A trip to the vet...

So my little buck Vinny has me stumped as well as several experienced breeders that have seen the pictures of him. I've put off taking him to the vet because frankly, its not ringworm, not mites, I see him chew himself...so there's nothing it could be other than just an OCD thing. Well he still keeps at it so I brought him in. Did the blacklight, no glowing, no mites, and the vet agreed, it has to be an obsessive compulsive behavior on his part. Thankfully he didn't charge me anything but its peace of mind to know we're right.
Vinny in the carrier after seeing Dr. Dodd. What am I going to do with him?!

He likes to pull his hair out on his neck....weirdo!
On another note...what's the saying, "When the cat is away, the mice will play"? Well our neighbors are out of town for the week so I decided to drag out all of the cages and give them a good power wash. Our neighbors are a bit nosey and would probably come over to supervise if they could. LOL So our once a year thorough cleaning is done and the cages are sparkling. :-) I'm a happy girl.

Thanks Becky! Just curious, how does he do it on his nose? I have a doe with a bald nose and she's in a cage with solid dividers so she's doing it somehow to herself. It's not fur mites, I'm stumped on her too!

I know they have no-lick and no-chew sprays for dogs. IDK if they have anything thats safe for rabbits. Its a bitter spray, we use it on one of our dogs that licks its feet constantly....or maybe see if he likes a toy that'll keep him busy enough? Hay in a toilet paper tube?

Ive never had this happen in Mini rex, but i would think maybe hes just bored or got too much energy?
Or he's just so excited to see all your girls and doesnt know what to do with himself ;-P

He does it on his J-feeder. I'm not sure I can explain it, but he just rubs it over and over again on the bottom. You know how they chin things? He noses them. ;)
