Growing up hotot :-)

Oh what a tough job it is to be a baby hotot around here...posing practice, pictures, daily hugs and kisses....;-) We are really loving our juniors right now and I hope we have enough showable ones to show this summer as these guys will be seniors by then. Lots of new babies born over the past four days, 16 new ones! A few of those won't be showable and then 3 sports won't be either but the good news is that out of those babies 7 are XEO babies, the last sired from him. Hopefully there will be a nice little buck in that bunch. On to the pictures!

Lucy's last litter with me, she sure has been a fantastic mom for us!

My favorite little buck so far, he is just perfect ;-) Bruce will pose and keep it too, a trait that is priceless!

Sinking into my hand....

Edith, she will make a good brood doe :-)

Another little buck, Ike....he isn't showable due to a spot on his back but that's alright he can stay a little while as he is an XEO son.
Ahh...Dixie's litter...so thankful the Lord woke me up last night at 2:30am...I never wake up that early!! So since I was up I turned on the cam and she was acting weird. I saw her jump in the box and she stayed a good while. When she came out I went to the barn and what do you know, cold newborn babies with no hair put on them. She had pulled her hair and packed it at the front of the box and kindled the babies in the back of the box. There was no way they would have stayed warm until morning. So glad I was awoken to go save them. Now the hair is on them and they're all 3 nice and snug. Thank you Lord!
