Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I guess I need to start up some informational posts again. If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment and let me know. I need ideas!
Anyhow, not much going on other than rearing babies and finally getting my feed issue sorted out..I think. :-) So here's my review on the Sherwood...it looks and smells amazing!! Made fresh and delivered to my door, definitely no complaints from me...the bunnies on the other hand begged to differ. The very first time I put it in their feeders they sniffed and hopped back, almost repulsed I guess. So I left it in there and by noon nothing was eaten and they were all gnawing on the wire as if they were going to starve to death. Silly bunnies. So I dumped it out and gave the pen pals feed which they cleaned up quickly. Next morning I mixed the feed with just a little bit of Sherwood...you know what they did? Started scratching the feed out and picking out the pen pals. UGH! So I didn't bother after that...now the polish are eating it until I run out since I paid a pretty penny for the feed. The babies.....at first liked the Lactating/Growing Sherwood feed but when I set a crock of pen pals only out for them it was devoured and they became picky. So much so they won't even eat the Sherwood now. Oiy! I'm forcing my pet babies to eat it, until its gone and I'm sending it with them when they leave here. I don't know why they don't like it, it really does look like a great feed. I did noticed it was a lot heavier, almost sticky like Alfalfa hay can be...you can feel that is has a lot more fat content than my Pen pals! Now that I think I have a reliable pen pals dealer again my buns will be able to have their feed without switching. whew!!

Lol, your rabbits response to the sherwood food is actually pretty typical. Almost every rabbit I've heard about goimg onto it, has disliked it until they are fully transitioned off their old food. My rabbits have been the same. I think it doesn't taste as good as other feed cause it doesn't have molasses in it. You know how much our bunnies love sugar :). I haven't decided if I like it yet. I wish we could get pen pals here.
