Alright, I haven't said much about Piper's pregnancy. After what happened last time, I really didn't want to make a big hype about it. Since this will be her first litter, I am not expecting any of the kits to make it. I've heard it's a 50/50 chance that first litters survive and with my past experience, I've never had a first litter make it-it's the second litter that does well. Anyway...she's full of babies this time. I feel three for sure, may be more, she's really big. She's bred to Delaney and due Nov. 10.
This is what I've seen her doing lately:

I do not really believe it but seemed like there is a taboo (in the Chinese belief) with too much hype around a pregnant woman (human) for the first 3 months. Expecting mothers normally do not disclose that they are pregnant until it is way past 3 months.
Wonder if we should practice that with rabbits. I did not for sure as I even disclose when my rabbits get mated. LOL...
I am not sure if it is really effective because I have seen my dad bringing his pregnant Golden Retriever for walks when she was pregnant and the 6 pups she had delivered in just 30 minutes. Wonder if exercising can in fact help with better kindling in rabbits. Shall try it out soon enough. LOL...
