Fur mites? What's going on?

Can mites become resistant to Ivermectin?? Sophie was treated for ear/fur mites with oral Ivermectin last month and did very well with it. She appears to have no ear mite issues, however...two weeks ago, I noticed a small scab on her nose. It has spread now and when some of the scab falls off it is bald underneath. What's going on? She shouldn't have fur mites since she was treated with 4 Ivermectin treatments. I put some Ivermectin directly on the scab area tonight...can mites become resistant I wonder?

Can you see those tiny little white specks moving?

As far as I know, Ivermectin is THE solution for mite. But the only version we have here is the injectibles. Not sure if there is another difference. I highly doubt it.

Could it be some other problems?

I don't know if it may be something else...I don't see any specks moving and I've looked at her vent area. I've seen bunnies with Syphillis that have noses that look likes hers-but her vent is fine. Ugh! I was wanting to show her in a few weeks but I doubt they would let her in with her nose like this. Thanks Tim for your imput! We'll see if it heals up.

I have heard that bunnies can become immune to ivermectin . . . how much were you using it? Someone said every other week was too much . .. *shrugs* I hope it heals! she's so goregous I'd love to see how she does at a show!
