Took Piper out this morning and whatta ya know, her vulva is light pink! This is a GOOD sign that she took. She's not being a grouch at all, increased appetite won't kick in until the last couple of weeks so really we won't know anything until I palpate her on the 29th of this month. So far, I've had a 100% success rate on palpating my does at 10-13 days. *grin* I can't wait to see how many we should expect-I Really hope this won't be a big litter since this is her first time. I'd like only two kits. She's really developed into such a big girl, I think she'll be a fantastic brood doe.

Had to move everybody back in the house, the temps are rising again outside. I hope it cools down soon, the bunny barn cages are much larger than these indoor ones.

I hope you can take photos of the palpation process. I have never done any palpation before and although read much about it, I still do not know where to begin. It would be fun to see an actual one done and documented. LOL...
I like your indoor setup. Very neat and clean.
Sure! I'll video record it, to show how I hold her. That's a great idea for a post. Thanks Tim for your comments!
that's great! finally I found a guru to teach me the art of rabbit palpation...
Eeek! Exciting! Let us know how Piper does... Good luck!
Susie :)
