Attitudes in the barn

Not much going on, just some crabby does and tough decisions. LOL I had to move Lucy to a new cage today and she's less than pleased. Tossing her nestbox around and grunting. She'll have to get over it!
"Go Away"

You'd think she's be happier being on the top tier with more lighting. ....Nope! She was ready to charge at me here.
Jordan is just not happy about anything. The crabby doe award will continue to be hers!
Decisions, decisions, it's always decisions in the barn on a daily basis. I don't know whether to keep Aviva's only living baby or not. She does have a blue eye spot which isn't a big deal but some breeders refuse to breed them. I don't know what to do and if she didn't have nice type then the decision wouldn't be so hard. I guess I'll keep her a while and grow her out.

It wouldn't hurt to grow her out. Is the eye spot hereditary or from an injury?

Didn't Aviva have that, too? :-{

If you love her, I think you should keep her. Occasionally I'd get to a point with my herd where I look around and it's like, I enjoy these bunnies but I've bred them so competitively that there aren't any individuals I really love. I'm happier when I have one or two around that are my special buddies, whether or not they are good show rabbits.

btw- Jordan is funny!

Well this little girl is now sold...I wanted to keep her but with 6 showable junior does I'm keeping, it's really not realistic to keep her. The blue eye spot is genetic, her mom had it too...so this bun is really more sentimental than useful for me. :-/ thanks April and Ellyn, ;-)
